“Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.”
― Anne Frank
At the very beginning of time, confronted by darkness and chaos, God’s first words were, “Let there be light!” (Gen. 1:3) In our own times, as we await the culmination of the NEW creation brought through Jesus’ incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection, God continues his call for light. My prayer is that Christ would be so present in me that He would light my one single candle and so push back the darkness.
